Atwell, a design and engineering consulting firm, has acquired Blueline, a Kirkland, Wash-based civil engineering, land use planning and landscape architecture firm.
Founded in 2003, Blueline works on commercial developments, multifamily projects, residential subdivisions, and public works projects primarily in Washington State. The firm has 75 professionals across four offices in Washington.
Atwell's acquisition of Blueline will significantly expand its presence in the Pacific Northwest, where it currently has a Portland, Oregon office. The deal will also expand Atwell's regional capability to serve residential, commercial, industrial and energy clients.
